Information about economy in the north in 1800?
The northern economy was based on factory and industry.|||The northern economy of the U.S. was based on factory and industry. Though there was still agriculture, most of the waterways such as the Erie Canal and the Hudson River/Mohawk River gave industry a good start. The large population also allowed for a surplus of factory workers.
