Please gave me some information about kampar economy?

In the 19th and most of 20th century, the economy of Kampar revolved around tin-mining. However, many tin-mining companies were forced out of business during the economic recession in the 1980s. Nevertheless, the town's economy recovered slowly by the end of 1980s.

Since the completion of the North-South Highway, Kampar's status as a bustling town has declined rapidly. Travellers stopped frequenting the town as they chose the more convenient highway. The nearest exit from highway is in Tapah, which is pretty inconvenient for travellers. The town is not so much abandoned as conveniently forgotten.

Why is frictional unemployment inevitable in an economy characterized by imperfect job information?

You know how when you first get a job and havent worked there and you're all excited cause it's the perfect job? And then when you get there you realize that it sucks and it was nothing like they told you it WOULD be? That's basically the reason. People are always going around searching for a perfect job because the job that they have isnt exactly what they want, or they are overqualified for it. So there is always some unemployment due to people looking for better jobs or moving around the country to other better jobs|||Because we are humans, therefore imperfect. For that reason, someone somewhere will always be in the wrong job, so they will bne quitting or getting fired, therefore...unemployed. Furthermore, companies are run by humans, so they are imperfect also. Therefore, they will always be doing GM-like things (realizing they are overpaying a bunch of lazy old fart union members to do what some Mexican or Korean will do for 10 cents on the dollar). They will lay off a whole bunch of people, then try to figure out how to do it better with different people. Of course, if it is GM, they will probably fail b/c they deserve to for still making Pontiacs - BLEK!

What chapters in The Role of a Lifetime (Lou Cannon) focus on the economy?

I am doing a research paper about Ronald Reagan. I want to determine how "republican" he was, because today so many people view him as this perfect republican god. I am going to be focusing on his economic actions. I know The role of a Lifetime is a great resource, but it's so overwhelming. I don't know how to look through it for specific information on the economy.|||By the end of his second term, Reagan was reported as being asleep at a lot of his cabinet meetings, so maybe you should be writing more about George Bush Sr. ? Reagan historically is more revered for establishing the end of the Cold War. In either case, neither the Reagan nor the VP who had backed him had much positive effect on the American economy.

In fact, Bill Clinton won his first term as President by running against Bush Sr. on the slogan,

"It's the economy, Stupid!"

This slogan echoed truthfully to the fact that Bush Sr. had a no better economic plan than the trickle-down economics of his predesessor.
